Distributed Generation - An Important Piece of Your Renewable Energy Puzzle
Thursday, January 28th at 3:00 - 4:00pm ET
Panelists from Michigan State University, Lafayette College, Electric Power Research Institute, and CustomerFirst Renewables will discuss the benefits and challenges of distributed generation (DG) projects (e.g. onsite solar, storage) and how to effectively integrate DG into a broader renewable energy procurement strategy based on an organization’s specific footprint and goals.
The speakers will walk through key considerations for choosing to implement DG projects and outline first steps for energy buyers to get started in considering DG projects in their energy portfolio. Attendees will gain insights from their peers’ experience with DG project implementation and learn about the value of site-specific feasibility studies to assess their DG potential and business case.
